Create Multiple Items at One Time

I'm currently preparing a demonstration to show users how to create non-CAD BOM's within the Vault using items, and have just realised how time consuming this will be. It would be most useful if Vault Professional allowed a user to be able to create multiple amounts of items in one go. If I am to build a new non-CAD BOM currently consisting of 30 items, I have to create 30 items one by one, then put them together in a BOM structure manually. It would be nice to be able to right click on the item master > New Item(s) and choose how many to create, then auto-number them all. Even better, provide a wizard which allows the user to structure the items before creation.

this is easily attainable via a BOM import though isn't it? I've done it including setting the structure via excel a number of times.

Thank for your input. You might want to check the Vault 2015 Beta: https://beta.autodesk.com/callout/?callid=0CEA9DDA3D144841A8DE3679943A440F This will give an idea how this might be implemented (you will be able to create a new Item and within the BOM tab add as many new Item as you wish in the same workflow using add row from new Item command. You will be also able to structure the BOM within the same workflow).
