Copy folder functionality

For files that may be stored in one folder, but may not be linked by a drawing, or top level assembly.  

Provide a functionality (similar to Copy Design) to copy a folder.  This would reduce the need to link files together, or create a "dummy" assembly to copy files related within a folder, but not connected directly by file heirarchy.

If you copy a huge assembly (new  project) with  more than 20000 files and more than 200 folders, it’s painful to structure all the files.
In Vault 2015 it was easier, but I use the numbering schema and rule sets.

Hopefully this will provide some insight to better copying with structure.  Note too we are looking at different ways to edit destination folder outside of just the current tree view.

Bonjour,

Pour augmenter la sécurité dans certains cas (par exemple des projets pour l'armée française) il serait intéressant de pouvoir créer un projet étanche par rapport aux autres projets dans un nouveau coffre. Toutefois il faudrait aussi profiter des modifications de la structure de la base de données (propriétés, catégories, cycles de vie…) qui arrivent postérieurement dans le coffre de base. Il s'agirait donc d'un clone au niveau structure avec des données différentes.

It would be great to have the possibility to copy a folder structure in Vault. It could be a kind of a folder template. No files must be copied only the folders.

The reason is we are using the same folder structure for all projects.
