When applying a change state to a part in Vault 2012 only the selected part in he change state window was checked. The corresponding idw was showed but not checked.
When applying a change state to an assembly in Vault 2012 only the selected assembly in the change state window was checked. The corresponding idw was showed but not checked. And the affected components used in the assembly with their idw's were shown but not checked.
When applying a change state to a part in Vault 2014 all affected files in the change state window are checked including the idw.
When applying a change state to an assembly in Vault 2014 all affected components (released or not) are checked.
When promoting files this is "probably" handy.
But when demoting this is NOT.
By mistake an engineer did not see this (nice new UI) and a complete design was demoted (had Vault had a possibility to delete a not intended revision this would not be a great issue but Vault has not such a possibility).
So PLEASE remove this automatic checking of all affected componnets and go back to the 2012 workflow!
Or at least give me the CHOISE to chose between check all affected components or check only the selected components.
