Workspace Issue

Hi, we are using Vault Manufacturing 2010 along with Inventor 2010.

Recently we added a new user to the Vault. 

The issue is that the Vault workspace for the new user is getting created on the server instead of the local disc on his system.

Earlier we had set the workspace to be enforced the same for all the vault users. But due to some constraints, we had to allow the users to create their workspace.

Can you pls tell me how can i get the workspace created on the local disc for the user (instead on the server)..?

hi HMalhotra,

When option 'All clients to define working folder' selected, users could set their own working folder in two approach:

1. File menu -> Set working folder.., this command will set working folder to Vault root $ whatever which folder selected.

2. select a specific folder, File menu -> Properties.. -> Working folder tab, you can define working folder sepecially for the slelcted folder.
