Webclient login with active directory

Hello,

We would like to link to custom Vault webclient searches from other web applications.  So a user may click a link on our intranet to "electrical drawings" and it would do a custom search within the Vault Webclient in a certain directory and for the text "electrical".

The problem is that the webclient asks for a login.

If the Vault 2011 collaboration server is in a domain and allows read-only access for the entire user container, can a user authenticate to the Vault webclient without ever seeing the login screen so that these custom search links will work?  Or will they still be presented with the login screen and asked to type in their active directory username and password?
