Visualization file cannot be created in Vault Pro 2011

I have autocad and inventor drawings in vault pro 2011 I can select the update view on an inventor part and the visualization file will be updated and works fine.  when I select an autocad file (dwg) I get the error "Update View Restriction"  visualization file cannot be created for "file name.dwg" due to vaulting restrictions.  when I expand the details it stats the File Type is not supported.  2010 used to work fine updating files, have any ideas?

I 've had problems with the Visualization files in Vault 2011 as well.

If you go to  VAULT SETTINGS - VISUALIZATION (tab) - OPTIONS (button) - this will bring up the PUBLISH OPTIONS dialog box...

Change the pull down to AutoCad and AutoCad Common and check the settings...
