Vault telling me that I dont have file on hard drive

Not sure why this is happening.

I have a user that has a file an assembly on his hard drive and when he opens the iam it shows him that he has a sub assembly that is out of date. This is fine but, when he goes to vault to do a get latest version, vault shows that he does not even have the file on his hard drive. We have done a refresh and we even shut down everything and rebooted but it is still telling him that it is not on his hard drive. Why is it not showing us that he has the file?

We have just got done installing INV10 with all the service packs and we are running Vault 4 sp2.

This sounds like a Working folder mapping issue. Verify all the mappings are
correct in Vault Explorer, and the ipj calls out the proper workspace
location. When you run Get Latest, toggle to List View to validate the
location where the files are going. Also, in Vault Explorer, make sure you
do not have any working folder overrides on non-library subfolder under the
root. If so, click Default to reset. This should help.

I checked to see if all the mapping were correct in Vault Explorer, and they are, the .ipj does call out the proper workspace location and when I do a get latest version and toggle to list view it shows me that the file are going to the proper folders. Not quite sure what you mean about folder overrides on non-library subfolders under the root.
could you explain this alittle to me please?

Hi,
Working folder overrides refers to the equivalent location from Vault
Explorer to Windows Explorer. This should be set on the top folder in Vault
Explorer. All folders underneath should inherit this location, plus the
folder path. Example:
Vault Explorer ($) = C:\AutodeskVaultWork
Designs = C:\AutodeskVaultWork\Designs
Engineering = C:\AutodeskVaultWork\Designs\Engineering
Your initial post describes an issue where the subfolders under Vault
Explorer ($) have a different location they are pointing to in Windows
Explorer. This can be verified by right click on the folder, Properties, and
examine the location. Click Default to reset it back to inherit the parent
folder location, plus folder paths. Post back with your results.

Brian,
I believe that my subfolders within vault are the same as my folder structure on my harddrive, as you can see from the attached files.
Since I have been migrating files would a reindex possably cure this.
