Vault server 2013 to 2014 upgrade

Hi all,

Just want to check I have the procedure correct for upgrading a Vault 2013 server to 2014 especially now with all the service packs and hotfixes available.

Steps:

1. Make backups and Reboot server

2. Check SQL SP Level

3. Start installation of Vault Server 2015

4. During installation add SP2 and Hotfix 1 for SP2

5. Run installation

6. Start Console application to migrate databases.

Please give me your thoughts and experiences if you feel it could help.

Hello,

1. Make and validate backups

2. Check SQL SP Level compatible with Vault Server 2014

3. Ensure no Windows Update running in the background

4. Start installation of Vault Server 2014

5. During installation download and add SP2

6. Run installation

7. Download Hotfix 1 from http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/vault-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/cumulative-hot... and install

8. Start Console application to migrate databases.
