Vault Pro 2015 Webclient Item master issue

Please see the attached file for a screen shot the error. I did install the web client on the Vault server. I didn't see any documentation saying not to. Does anyone have any suggestions?

In Vault, are Items enabled?

Vault Items Administration

If so, what steps did you take to cause that error?

Yes the Items are enabled. Please see the attachment. I open the web client and press the item master button. It waits a few seconds and then that dialog opens up.

Hi Eric,

This is a known issue and the reason for this is due to illegal characters that you have as your item's title.

The characters that are illegal includes:

" > <

The below characters are allowed:
~!@#$%^&*();:,. ?/\

Ok, in another thread: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/vault-general-discussion/vault-2014-subscription-release-1-web-client-... the claim is made that a fix exists for 2015. Could someone point me to the correct hot fix? Also, does anyone know when the first server service pack is scheduled to be released.

Hi Eric,

Regarding that thread, yes i mentioned it to be fixed in a future release, but it is not referring to the already released Vault 2015. Based on what i know, there is no hotfix available right now that is fixing this issue as of now. If it is very critical and urgent, perhaps you can try contacting one of our customer support specialist and update them about this issue.

Hope this answers your query.

Maybe this will help someone. By removing " < > in item names it fxied it for vault 2014 SR1.

Hi Eric,

In case you have yet to apply SP1 for Vault 2015, the fix for this issue is in there now. You may get the SP1 at the following URL: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/vault-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-vault...
