Vault Pro 2012 does not automatically login after auto logoff

I just upgraded from Vault Professional 2011 to 2012.  When the Vault client automatically logs out, when I try to do something in the client I get an error instead of having it automatically login.  There was a hotfix for both full client and Inventor that made Vault automatically log back in after it automatically logs out.

This is extremely annoying and really should be permanently fixed.

Is there any fixes available for this?

Thanks!

Dear John C Weiss Jr. ,

what is the exact error message you get?

Would you please attach a screenshot here and the vlog file from the Vault Server?

Have you already installed Vault 2012 Update 1?

Does the issue occur on both Vault Client and Inventor?

Best Regards:
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I haven't had this problem myself today.  Saturday I did get an error message and I think it said Error 300 and said I was automatically logged out of Vault and I had to physically log back in.

Today I have another user who says that the Vault client is actually closing the application when it logs out.  She leaves her desk and comes back and the Vault client is no longer open.  She says it happened four times today.

Hi Kevin,

Well I have not seen any problems with Vault associated with automatic logout and logging back on.  Ths problem occured right after I upgraded the Vault server and multiple power failures due to an early snow storm here on the east coast.

The user who claimed that Vault automatically logged off and closed the application says it has not happened again.  So I would say we are good to go.  Thanks for trying help me out!  I appreciate it

Dear John C Weiss Jr.,

thx for your feedback.

Please let us know if this reoccurs again.

The only advice I could give you immediately is to install Update1.

But please wait until we fixed the installation issue before you install it.
