I was looking at the log on screen for the Vault Web Client. I noticed that there was a check box for Read Access Only. I tried logging in with the box unchecked. I then got a message stating that I failed to aquire a license. This puzzeled me that because I know that the Web Client does not have licenses. I began to research this and was only able to find this link.

This states that you can use the Web Client to add files, check files in, and check files out. I know that I had licenses available for Vault Professional. Which leads me to the conclusion that their must be some other type of license available for purchase.
I am just looking for information from anyone that may have it. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Steve
You are right. Web client doesn't need a license. However the license for a Vault login is pulled from licenser server to your Vault server and then accessed by the web client when you try to login.
If you are getting failed to acquire license, please check the licpath.lic file in your ADMS install folder and check whether its pointing to the right license server. This should fix the problem.
Hope it helps.
Steve,
The web client, in Read-only mode, doesn't require a license. However when you uncheck the Read-only box you are using the web client in Read\Write mode which requires a Vault Office license. This license is different than your Vault Professional license and you are correct this is a separate purchase the Vault Professional.
