Vault Mirror 2013 error message-error-updating file links

I have both Vault 2012 and 2013 installed on same computer, as the vault client on the same machine too.

When I try to run Vault Mirror 2013 got the error-updating file links message on some files.

After closing the error message I can run the vault mirror again, until the next error.

Than I run the old Vault Mirror for Vault 2012, and was OK.

The vaults were migrated after the Vault Server 2013 installation.

What is wrong?

Have PDSP 2013 installed on XP X64.

The files that give you errors, what happens if you try to download them through your Vault 2013 client?  Do you still get an error?

What error are you seeing exactly from Vault Mirror?  Can you post a screenshot?

Does the error cause Vault Mirror to shut down, or is it just an error dialog where you hit OK and it keeps going?

The files(with the error message) are OK, when I open them.

If I hit OK on the error message I can continue with the VM until

the next error message.

Applies to the Autocad dwg files only.

Inventor files are OK.

I checked some of those files out, resave and check them back in.

Still same error.

I haven't been able to reproduce yet on my end.

Is this all DWG files, or just some of them?  Do the DWG files show up in the mirror folder?

One temporary workaround is to run Vault Mirror from the command line.  That way it will cycle past errors automatically instead of popping up errors all the time.

Vault Mirror gets installed under C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins.  The readme documentation tells you how to run the command line.

If you want, you can send me some of the DWG files that are causing problems.  My email is doug.redmond AT autodesk.com.

Hi Doug,

Thank you .

My answers bellow,

"Is this all DWG files, or just some of them(some of them)?  Do the DWG files show up in the mirror folder(yes)?"

I will run Vault Mirror for VAULT 2012 for now.

Regards,

Nina
