Hi Team,
When i upload a file to Vault through AutoCAD, the .dss file containing folder appears with an icon as shown in the attahed screen. But if i add a folder through Vault Api, only a normal folder is created.
So any idea to create a folder with icon in vault using api?
That icon represents the Autocad Sheet Set manager. The file you uploaded must be a sheet set file. The .dss extension of the file you mentioned supports this. This icon is normal for that type of file.

I dont recall the exact methods to do this.
But I beleive it does require that an extension be loaded in VE.
Both Sheet Set Manager and Civil 3D use this method. They use a known property on the objects and look for a certain value on the object in order to know if the icon should be changed.
If you post this question to the Vault API forum you might get a better, more specific answer.
