Vault Check in Options

Using Vault Pro 2012

Is there a way to only create a dwf file (from an idw file only) on check in when the file moves to approved state?

Currently it is taking an eternity to check in all files due to it creating all dwf files for changed files.

Thanks

Yes.  You will need the Job server enabled though.

You have to edit the lifecycle - under the rules for state transitions (for example WIP>>Released) you will see a tab for 'Actions'.  Under this there is an tic box to "synchronize properties and update view with Job Server".  Every time you change state from WIP to Released that action will happen.  You can do the same for several state changes if necessary.

Best of luck!

John
