Vault Basic 2014 cannot set working folder

Hello Everybody,

I just installed Vault Basic 2014 and I'm still on the phase of figuring it out (never installed, set up or even used Vauld ever before...).

First thing I wanted to do is to set the default paths to a larger partition of my drive instead of the default C:

I managed to do that with the Database and the FileStore (made a backup and restored to a different location) and I would like to move the Working Folder as well, but whatever I do, it just won't change...

I tried:

1. File - Set Working Folder

2. Right Click on Root Folder - Properties - Working Folder - Change

3. Tools - Administration - Vault Settings -  Enforce consistent working folder for all clients

Whichever option I try, I browse and chose the desired folder but the working folder just won't change.

It's probably something very obvious, but I just can't figure it out. So, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Baczo Zsolt.

Baczó.

Have you applied all Service Packs and Hotfixes?

No i didn't... But i reinstalled Vault and Vault server in reverse order and made some set-up choices in different order and now it works. But I don't know what made the difference.
