Vault and SQL limits

Hello,

is there some limits for filestore, and sql for Basic, Workgroup, Proffesional, SQl versions?

 

I know now that sql have limitations in size per database but how is it with Vault? 

 

For example what is too much for Basic? How much GB and how many files? Or it's not limited?

Hello,

 

no there is no limit of filestore. Even not in Vault Basic.

 

The main thing is in my eyes taking care that your hard disc capacity is suffient.

Like Kevin said... you are not limited by Vault itself.

 

But.. there are limits because of the Express version of Microsoft SQL.  I am not sure what version of SQL is installed with say ADMS 2013 or ADMS 2014.

 

MS Express SQL 2005, Ram limit = 1 GB, 1 CPU, and Max Database size = 4GB

MS Express SQL 2008, Ram limit = 1 GB, 1 CPU, and Max Database size = 10GB

 

I believe that IF you do reach your limit, you can use PURGE to bring it back down.
