Vault and IV Simulation

I am running Vault 2009 and IV Simulation 2009. When I go to check in a part with a completed stress analysis, Vault grabs the ipt, the ipa, and the .rst files. I want to keep the ipt and the analysis setup, but I don't need to keep 150 MB of results files in Vault. Is there a way to automaticaly keep the ipa file but not the rst file on check-in?

Hello,

I do not believe this is a supported operation. It is my understanding that
the Vault will treat all Simulation files as a 'package'. For more
information, you could also try posting this question to the
Autodesk.Inventor newsgroup.

Adam

Thanks for the update.

Is this functionality planed for a future release? If not, how do I request it?

Hello,

There's a similar post in Autodesk Inventor newsgroup that probably can solve your problem. You can refer to: http://discussion.autodesk.com/adskcsp/thread.jspa?messageID=5852531

Thanks,
