Vault and DWF

Is there a way when the Vault creates DWF's the only cerates them for IDW's
and not all the parts and assemblies. If not then this is another wish for
Vault 6.

Hi Dustin,
IDW-to-DWF-only filtering is not a feature of Vault or Productstream 5. We
have heard this mentioned before though. Autopublish on check in will still
generate DWF's for all files. This can be a good thing. Case in point: with
Vault 5 you can Pack and Go a DWF package (all files, idw, iams, ipt's) to a
folder or email recipient. This will give them one DWF with DWF's of all the
parts inside.
Are you noticing a filestore size issue? Look at per file conditional
purging with Vault 5 to remove unwanted file versions.

I want this feature more for file sharing threw out the company so I don't
have people come to me and say "can you print this out for me". If I had a
directory of only DWF of IDW then I could say go here and print it out
yourself. That way my life might be a little simpler.
