Vault and AutoCAD communication error!

A problem appears when opening AutoCAD file from the Vault:
1. The working folder in the Vault 2008 is set to C:\Working.
2. When in AutoCAD 2008 the file is opened from the Vault it is saved in C:\Documents and Settings\....\Vault\Working.
It happens on some computers and not on the others. All installations are from the same deployment . What can cause this discrepancy and how it can be fixed?
Thanks

Hi,

There are two ways to set working folder.

1. RMB on $/ and set working folder as C:\Working
2. Tools > Administration > Files Tab > Choose "Define" under working folder section and set "C:\Working\"

If you had tried the first one, the working folder settings will be applicable only to that system. If you need to enforce all the clients to use the same working folder, you must try the second method. Please do remember to Log Out and Log In again in all the clients to see the correct working folder settings.

Hope that helps.

Regards,
Madhan
