Vault 5 Edit fails to update DWF

Edit from Vault Explorer will check out an Inventor file but the DWF file that was automatically attached, although copied to the working folder, is set to 'read only'. Consequently when the inventor file is modified and checked back into the Vault using the inventor browser - the DWF file is not updated and remains as per the previous version. This is causing problems with people viewing out of date drawings and I guess will cause problems going forward with Productstream.
Any suggestions would be most welcome

We currently have this issue logged and our team is looking into the
problem. For the time being I would suggest using the Inventor add-in to
check out the files and perform the edits and then check back in so that
your dwf files will be updated.
