Vault 2015 with Sharepoint 2013

Hello All,

today, I've tried to connect Sharepoint 2013 with Vault 2015.

All the settings go well without any error messages.

But when I am trying to get my Vault File, Item or ChangeOrder List, I've got this message box:

"Error running BCS command in Autodesk.Vault.BCSConnect: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Web.Services3, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Correlation ID:0c81879c-b8d4-3029-56a2-1232148f6914"

I might have done a mistake somewhere but I could not find my mistake... Hope you could help me!

Hello Bertrand,

Sounds like the BCSConnector is not properly configured.

Several things you could probably check here:

1. Have you set proper "Object Permissions" on AdskVaultChangeOrder, AdskVaultFile and AdskVaultItem in "External Content Types" of "Business Data Connectivity Service"?

2. After setting the object permissions, are the profile pages of AdskVaultChangeOrder, AdskVaultFile and AdskVaultItem configured or upgraded?

3. In the SharePoint Vault Settings page, are the URLs of the file, item, change order pages the same as what you have in step 2?

WSE 3.0 is not installed on the SharePoint server.  Install it and that will resolve the problem.

Hello Guys,

thanks a lot for your contribution. My issue was related to the prerequist WSE 3.0 on the SharePoint server...

My fault!

It works like a charm now 😉

Just to share a bit more my little experience:

1) Windows Server 2012 Blank OS

2) I've installed SharePoint 2012 as a standalone product.

3) Get an error resolved with this post

4) Install the WSE 3.0

5) Install Vault 2014 (used also for 2015) Sharepoint 2013

6) Deploy with the bat

7) Set up Sharepoint server for list and Vault Set up

For a noob, I did it!
