Vault 2013 Version for Multisite Replication

I am needing some experienced based input on Vault as it relates to replication.  We are in the process of deciding if Vault Collaboration will be sufficient for us or if we should go with Professional and along with that if we need to plan on site replication.  We have five locations on our WAN.  The three main locations will share a 50 meg/sec connection and two other plants will be linked to all others with a 10meg connection.  This is an upgrade that is pending so we can't test it yet.  We're talking medium to large assemblies.  Will we need site servers and replication no question or is such a scenario working OK for some with a single server and no replication?  Also, Vault Professional 2013 touts enhanced replication features.  Is this only in Professional and not Collaboration and are these features important enough to warrant serious consideration?  Any input or experience anyone may have with using Vault on this scale would be much appreciated.
