Vault 2012 - SP1 - Install issue

Trying to install SP1 and getting the following error

At this point during the installl

Untitled2.jpg 

 

Antivirus off during install

UAC switched off 

All windows updates installed 

 

Win7 64bit, SP1

Vault Pro 2012 

Factory Design Suite 2012

Hi Matt,

 

We need few information to reproduce the issue with our end.

 

1. Can you please ZIP and send the Connectivity.Explorer.Framework.dll from AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 install folder?

2. Can you please let us know all the Autodesk Software names that you have installed in your machine? May be a screen shot of the Programs if you can

Matt,

 

We tried to reproduce the issue and so far we couldn't. We need to know whether you have any other Hotfix/update installed for Vault 2012 Client and AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 in your system. If yes, could you please send us the screen shot of the "Installed Update" page from Programs and Features?

 

Also could you please send us the connectivity.Explorer.Framework.dll file from AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 installed location?

Also what happens if you click on "Retry". Do you still see the same error?

Retry does nothing, it just presents me with the same dialog.

Just to follow up this for the wider audience....

 

This is a different problem than the erorr with the "Connectivity.Branding.Vault.dll" and not as widespread. ie we are not getting as many reports of this issue.

 

After, uninstalling Vault Professinoal 2012 and AutoCAD Mechanical 2012, deleting their respective C:\Program Files folders and reinstalling them, it was possible to re-apply Vault 2012 Update 1 successfully.
