ASPX file failed to run at URL: "http://localhost80/TestASP/TestASPNet.asp";;; see screen shot attached
running windows 7. port 80 is being used by NT Kernel & System on PID4.
(the warning shown in the screen shot is for the firewall.)
can vault be changed to use another port?
can iis be changed to run on another port?
can the NT Kernel be changed to run on another port?
any help on how to fix this?

Have you tried to click the link in test result? I will open help file and give you instructions how to fix it.
And yes, you can change IIS port. Read this documentation from Microsoft.
I believe Vault will use the same port as IIS, but I never tested it.
Hi Geoff,
On the server, if you browse to http://localhost/TestASP/TestASPNet.aspx what is the result? (It should essentially show a blank page).
If you manually install the precheck files, is the issue resolved?
2011_install_location\\x86\en-us\edmPrechecks\TestASPNet.msi
Regarding your other questions,
Yes, vault can be moved to a new IIS port (both during and after the installation).
A pre-existing website in IIS can be changed to a new port (edit the bindings in IIS).
Hope that helps.
hi and thanks for the help. the problem is with "local host 80".
the error help link supplied by autodesk during the setup in for "localhost" and give no help regarding "localhost80" problems.
"if you browse to http://localhost/TestASP/TestASPNet.aspx what is the result" blank screen but this is refering to the local host not to local host80.
"If you manually install the precheck files, is the issue resolved?" no i have not tried this, trying this now.
2011_install_location\\x86\en-us\edmPrechecks\TestASPNet.msi. this did not work same problem "localhost80"
i have changed the website binding to port 8080 but this did not fix the problem of the iis using port 80. i have changed this back to port 80.
see attaced the iis port number is 80.
when i try and change the setup options i can not change the iis, see attached.
port 80 is being used by NTKernel.
