Vault 2009 Searching 'Checked Out By'

Hello All,

Under ADMS 5 and Vault 5 I had a saved search 'Checked Out By All' that used the * wildcard as a value for 'Checked Out By' 'is'.

Now under ADMS 2009 and Vault 2009 this doesn't seem to work.

As I 75 users across 3 Vaults I'm not keen on having to have individual searches for everyone to check what's 'Checked Out' before I do any major work with ADMS / Vault / Inventor.

Any Ideas.?

Hi Stephen, It appears you're having the same problem that I have in my message on Aug.1, "Begins search lost in 2009". If I understand my response for Autodesk correctly, there's a bug in searches in '09. Wildcards should work in "is" seearches but don't. (if I got it right) Other types of searches now use some kind of token system that can mess up hte use of wildcards. Rosco

Use the Condition: "is not empty" this will show
all the files checked out by any user.
