Value cannot be null .Parameter name: link

I installed vault for workgroup 2010 and inventor 2010 to a newly configured windows 7 machine.  At the time of install, Microsoft office was not installed.  I tested the install and it worked OK.  Then microsoft office, outlook 2007 and printer drivers were installed.  When you start Vault, it will shows the following windows after acknowledging the prompts:

a. Autodesk Vault Workgroup Error report window.  This window sends error report to Autodesk.

b. Error window with the "Value cannot be null.Parameter name: link" message.

c. Vault window opens

d.  Error Window "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

e. Vault window is shown without the tree on the left pane.  Basically a window with all the tool bars, menu and the 3 panels (Tree, View and table panels) that are blank.

I ran fix install and uninstall then install vault without sucess.

Does any one know a fix for the rrror I'm having?  Thanks.
