Uploading 200,000+ Drawings any advise?

This is probably the second biggest load their will be an even large one later this year. Any advise?

This 200,000+ is AutoCAD with a sprinkle of ACADE. Another 20-30k of Inventor files are already in. Then the larger will be a mix of AutoCAD and PDF files some of them probably date back to the 80's...

You may try with Autoloader which will be installed by Vault client.

Load Inventor files first with 'Task Scheduler' in the following order:

  • parts
  • assemblies
  • presentation
  • drawing

Then using AutoCAD, use the 'check in folder' option.

This is the easiest process.  Not a big fan of Autoloader, except for the reporting part.
