Upgrade server 2013 to 2013 SP1. Deny old clients?

I have updated the Autodesk Vault Professional server from 2013 to 2013 Service Pack 1.

But its still possible to log in with the old client to the new server. Is it some way to deny access for old clients? 

Or maybe it doesn't cause big problem to continue to use old clients with the new server?

We do not block this.  Although it is preferable to patch the clients, no damage is done by connecting an unpatched client.

Note also that due to forward compatibility functionality a 2013 client is not even blocked from connecting to a 2014 server.

Thanks for the fast reply! Was a little bit worried that old clients would damage/corrupt the files.

Is it possible to update through Windows Intunes?
