Transmittal Reports

I don't want to include a transmittal report when sending files in Vault 2011.  Is there a setting where I can stop them from being automatically attached to emails?

Please follow up the below steps to disable transmittal report function. You open Connectivity.Vault.exe.config located under the same folder as Connectivity.Vault.exe. please find <add key="AppendReportToPackage" value="1"/> in the config file and change the value to 0, and then reopen Vault.

Yes, there is a setting that be toggled in a XML configuration file.

If you are using Vault Professional, the XML file is at the following location (for most users):

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Professional 2011\Explorer\Connectivity.VaultPro.exe.config

Open the file and look for a key <add key="AppendReportToPackage" value="1"/>, then change the value from 1 to 0.

That will turn OFF the sending of transmittal reports during sending of files.
