SQL Server Express or higher?

Hi, 

  I'm evaluation Vault 2014 now, how do I dertermine which versin of SQL Server I should use, Express, Standard, or higher? where is the best practise? in the number of document, like 10,000 files? or size of documents, 10 Tb files?

The size of documents does not matter much, they are not stored in the data base but in the file store; only its thumbnails are stored in the SQL. Rather the number of documents and the number of properties per document influence the size of the data base.

Remember, you can always upgrade the Express edition to any higher if necessary.
