SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition and Future Vault Releases

Hi Guys,

Our IT Department has just upgraded our server OS to Windows Server 2008 64Bit. We are still finding our vault performance to be very slow (Vault Itself as well as Vault Client Machines). We have since been informed that we have been running with SQL 2005 Express Edition which I presume could be part of our performance problem.

Our IT guys have SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition which they can instal but we are also about to instal Vault 2012 (Probably Pro) and have been told that Vault 2011 was the last release which is compatible with SQL Server 2005....

Is this correct? If not, any ideas how much longer until that is the case?

If it is correct, how would you suggest we proceed?

Thanks
