Splash Screen still stays on top of everything

Another year, and the Vault Pro 2015 splash screen still behaves in a different way from every other Autodesk Product I know.

Why do we have to wait for the opening splash screen to disappear? With every other Autodesk product, if you click into another application, the splash screen will be hidden behind your other application until the product has finished loading.

With Vault (Explorer) however, it stays on top of everything and you just have to wait.

Extremely frustrating. Why can't we have consistency here?

Hi Gavin and Chris!

I've raised your concern to our Vault product team and I have been informed that it would be best to post this issue in our Vault IdeaStation. There you can post the details of your request and then others can offer kudos in order for the post to gain visibility. Thanks very much for your feedback! Please let me know I can do anything else for you.

Thanks Jess. I'm happy to log it in the Ideastation. I just didn't feel that it should be there initially, as it's not a "wishlist" item. It's actiually a regression that was introduced sometime around the 2012 release from memory. I think this is a defect.

Anyway, I'll log it in Ideastation now.

Thanks Gavin! I understand how you feel about the difference between a wishlist item and a regression, but this is the best place to voice your opinion about any change that you think should be made in the product. Whether it's a defect or not I'm not sure, but hopefully we'll find out Smiley Happy
