Wondering if any one has successfully used the publish to sharepoint option?
Is it worth getting it to work? Any thoughts?

There really isn't any effort to get it to work - You just put your folder
path in the admin section and then use the publish command.

feel free to try it out. it's very simple.

What exactly is the "publish command" and how does it work? How does it know which sharepoint directory to publish to? Why do you have to set up sharepoint directories and how do you use them?

The pulish command can be accessed by Actions menu > Publish to SharePoint. This function can be performed by two steps, firstly, make sure there's a SharePoint server , browse to a folder on SharePoint page and get the path, go to Vault client, access the SharePoint section from Administrator dialog, enter the path to the directory textbox , thus a new directory is configured; Secondly, access to the publish command, you can publish it to the target Sharepoint page by selecting the related directory.
You can also refer to the help document for more detailed information.

Thanks,
