File Locking feature is part of Productstream. It
is not available in Vault.
In Productstream either you can manually lock the
files or using Item based workflow. When the Item goes through the Lifecycle
process and gets into Released state the item's corresponding CAD file gets
locked automatically. The file gets unlocked when the Item comes back to Work In
Progress state.
