Search Wildcards

I'm having some issues with the Search providing results which I want to see.

The Help says that * represents any number of characters within a string, and ? represents a single character in a string.

As you can see in my example below, the ? isn't having any impact on representing a single character. I would like to find all files which end in _????.rfa but the result are ignoring the fact that I only want results with 4 characters after the _ and before .rfa.

This is Vault Collab 2012.
