Search terms help please... Unique items in a field?

Hi Guys,

We have an idexed iproperty in our Vault we use for part numbering called "Title" for a bunch of reasons. This suits us and works well.

However I would quite often like to be able to run a Vault search and have it return all non-unique or duplicate title properties in a search path. Is this possible?

For example I would specify a folder int he vault, and run a search on the "Title" property and it would show all/any inventor files that had matching (duplicate) text in the Title fields.

The idea here would be to search to make sure the same number is NOT used twice, and if it is I can find it and fix it.

Thanks, I cant seem to find a way to search like this.

Hi Brian,

I am not aware of achieving this directly in Vault. However, this can be done by exporting list of files from a vault folder to excel and using pivot table feature or "Highlight duplicate values" from excel application. Attached image is for your reference.
