Revit 2015 R2 - Site Designer

Hi all.

I'm in the process of installing Vault 2015 R2 on an exiting application server. The default web site is running .NET 2.0. And if I install Vault on the default web site, it will probably corrupt the existing applications already running on the the default web site.

Is it possible to install Vault not using the default web site? And if so, how is this done?

Or is it more safe to argue for a separate Vault server in order to avoid any conflicts with the other applications?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, during the installation of the server, expland the configuration on the product selection page using the drop-down arrow.  There is a section for installing the server in a custom website.  This will keep it separate from your other application.

I would recommend that you do this on a test server first to verify the results before doing it on a production server.
