Restoring a vault

Hello,
I wish to restore my vault to the last good backup I have. However, when I run the restor I get an error that the "File Store Directory is not empty". What does this mean and How can I correct the situation?
Kind regards,
Rick

Hello Rick,

Please make sure the filestore is empty. The default location is "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\VaultServer\FileStore". Delete the file stores and try again.

If the the problem still there, please attach the log files(default location is "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\VaultServer\FileStore") then I can look into the logs.

Thanks
Rohn

Rohn has identified the likely problem.

An alternative solution would be to pick a specific
directory to restore the filestores to in the Restore dialog.

Thanks Guys,
Taking my resellers advice, I simply Reinstalled the vault server software, deleted the old files and then ran the restore. I am in good shape now.
Kind regards,
Rick
