replace with vaulted part

As im vaulting things, I keep having to go into my assem's deleting parts (that already exist in the vault) and adding them back from vault.
Is there a quicker way?
It would be nice to just have an icon to "use vaulted version"
Or am I doing things incorrectly?
I have vault set to not duplicate names.

Thanks in advance

When I searched I found this old open thread has a similar question as me.

Within vault, when i select an assembly I can see which parts are used to make that assembly.

Is it possible (without going to inventor) to replace a partA with partB?
