Replace latest version with an older

I am using Vault Basic 2013. I wonder how to replace the latest version of a part with the older version of the same part? For example I have a part where the latest version is version 9, and I would like to replace it with version 7, so the latest version after replacement would be version 10 (I supose). Is this possible? The same part is in a assembly so I hope that when I open the assembly the assembly will accept that change without big problems. In this case it will be no problems regarding constraints because changes do not affect on assembly constraints.
