When renaming within vault, it would be nice to be able to add a comment, instead of having to recheck out to add comments.
What is in the pipeline for the next release of vault?
I hope it will get better, and that we wont be pushed into purchasing product stream, due to the shortfalls with vault.

Yes it would. Renaming automatically adds a comment 'Rename' to all files.
If I rename some parts the parent assembly gets a new version with the
comment 'Rename' when in fact it was not renamed.

I agree. This would be a nice feature and I'll log this as an enhancement
request for you both.
