Rename doesn't change browser

These files were renamed in Vault. I then did an 'Open from Vault' in
Inventor. The new names show in Vault view but not Model view. Has anyone
else seen this?

Make sure your local workspace is clean (old filename removed), do a get
latest, then open up and see if it behaves as you'd expect. Let me know if
that works for you.

Thanks,
Bob

When I say open.. I don't mean "Open from Vault".. just file|open from local
workspace while logged into the Vault. At this point, the Vault knows about
the rename, but locally Inventor doesn't understand/know the change yet.
Flushing the local workspace first, then opening the files should get the
behavior you expect (I think)..

Thanks,
Bob

I deleted the entire local folder & did a 'Get Latest' from VE. I still see
the same thing in the browser.

Oh wait.. I think I understand your problem.. Can you confirm the filename
is renamed on the local disk (and in the Vault)? What you are probably
seeing is the part name in the Inventor (model) browser still using the old
name, while in the Vault browser, it's using the correct name. Sorry, just
multi-tasking and didn't think through this one enough before posting.

Please confirm that is the case.. everything still resolves properly, just
the part name in the Inventor browser isn't the same now as the name on
disk.

Thanks,
Bob

Yes, this is the case. Everything resolves fine, just the browser names are
still showing old names.
