Vault paths use forward slashes "/" unlike file paths.  Can you try with forward slashes and see if that is the problem?

Ok.  I think it wants a path to a *folder* where you want to repair references.  I don't think there is an option to choose a specific file only.  See:

I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you meant by that last post.

  • Is it working now with specifying just a folder (e.g "$"), or is that not working either?
  • Or is it that something else is not working?

In your image, the project path should be using forward slashes as shown in the below link (though I'm not sure if the software considers that an error or fixes that for you):

Okay, I would use forward slashes for the project path.

The original error you showed is referring to the path on the main dialog, not the Inventor Project File

Did you change the path in the main dialog to specify a folder (like $)?  And did that change anything?

Can you show me both settings and the latest error message you receive?

Thanks,

- Matt

In the images attached, you show your Path and Inventor Project File Path.  However for Path, you point this to a project file also, I believe this should only point to a directory.

Ok. Now run correct.

The Path is need only path. But in the options need PATH + FILE.ipj

Thanks you guys, Matt and Hywell.
