"Fix" a mistake in a library part?

I think I may have really goofed this time.

I had library files that I wanted to fix, (they were missing iProperties or a particular instance).

Is there a way to "fix" a mistake on a "library" file that is used in hundreds of assemblies? (i.e. i want vendor information to populate the BOM automatically.)

Yes, you might even find similar discussions that have already touched on
this or similar subject matter. Basically, you need to setup a project file
with the library folder location (of your current project) defined as the
workspace. Essentially, you're just creating a new IPJ that you (as Vault
administrator) will only have access to for the sole purpose of editing
library parts. Whether you need to make a modification, update incorrect
iproperties or whatever the case, you can do this if the library path is
defined as the workspace.

Thanks,
Bob
