Project Number client in reusable design.

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to add Project number in title block ( idw ) file, for reusable design?

I have scenario in my vault server like below

Single project for all project number.

and i use Autonumbering scheme fo file naming.

I create master assembly in assembly folder, and use copy design main assembly for each client (project).

But i've problem, how to add project number in each drawing ( assembly and monodrawing) depend on project without copy design All part .

because i want to keep the drawing number.

Hi Akhid,

I am not sure there is any way to automatically fill out the project number - you may have to use a separate project number file property to resolve this.

What you mean is make a list of project number in separate database like excel?

I think it's a good idea, but how to print dwg (monodrawing) per project I need?

I was try to use watermak tools, but not like to niche in the hard copy.

Hi Akhid,

No in this case I mean creating a property in Vault for "project" and modifying this for all documents in that project - you can then use that to fill out title blocks, search and sort on.  The only problem is we are not able to fill this out automatically, you would need to edit properties on copied files or fill out from templates etc - I hope this makes sense.
