Productstream vs. Vault Client

What extra functionality does Productstream have over Vault Explorer? To be specific, if we have a multi-site Vault configuration with one SQL server, should we install Productstream also?

The Productstream client (Productstream Professional is an entirely different product) is no longer available, and the last available version was Productstream 2009.

Productstream was renamed to Vault Manufacturing 2010 and then Vault Professional 2011 and 2012.

Vault Professional contains every feature plus more of base Vault, Workgroup and Collaboraiton. 

Clients can only connect to their specific version of server, so if you have a Vault Professional server, you must use the Vault Professional client, same for Collaboration and Workgroup, etc.
