Problems loging in to Vault 2014

Hi,

Suddely I am having problems loging in to Vault Basic 2014.

I am a single user and have Vault 2014 server and client installed on the same machine.

This configuration has worked flawless fo more than a year, and suddenly today I recieved this error message.

Any ideas where to start?

Best regards / H. Nilsson

Can you log into the ADMS Console?

Something must have changed, install any Windows Updates lately?

Update your Anti-virus? I only ask as I had a system running Comodo A/V and it caused me grief with Vault

Hello,

No problems with ADMS console.

However I have checked and a Windows update KB2970228 was installed some days ago.

Perhaps uninstalling this update?

I am using McAfee anti- virus, but I don't recall any major update lately.

Just lucky I have a complete backup of my entire working folder to work with until the problem is solved.

Perhaps the time has come to take a step to Vault 2015??

Cheers / H. Nilsson

Please consider the solution recommended in Autodesk Knowledge "Error: "Error: "Operation failed" on login or "There is an error in XML document (0, 0)." on backup".

Brilliant solution!!!

I feel I cannot thank you enough.

Simply renaming the xml file and restart did the trick.

Again thanks for your help / H. Nilsson
