Old Versions Preventing File Deletion

I have a part file in the vault that I need to delete.  The situation is the part was replaced in all of the associated assemblies.  Now when I try to delete the part the error shows up stating that there are "versions" of the assemblies that had the part swapped out in preventing this file from being deleted.  What is the work around for this?

Is there a way to get rid of the previous versions?

If you log in as an administrator, you can override the restriction(s) and delete the file.

Dave,

I am an administrator and it still is not allowing me to.

I am probably missing what overrides this because I am new to the vault,

so can you show me screen shots ot give me explicid instructions what I need to select to override this?
