no need to check out

Is there a way to run Vault projects where the files are all ways checked out. I am a stand alone user and would like to have Inventor Vault projects set to where the files are always in check out mode.

Sure. There is an option in the Inventor check-in dialog to keep the files checked out.

Doing so will check in your latest changes to the Vault but keep your files checked out for further editing.

See my attached screen cap of the option.
