Mass properties editing

I have the view setup with all the columns I need.

I have the edited excel file ready to import. where is the import commnad?

May be I didnt ask the complete question.

I have exported the coloumns I need to Excel. added all the missing data to the blank cells them the way I want.

But, I couldnt find the import command. Have anyone used this?

go to the item master then file import item.

But i see the instructions state not to use Export item and only Export. I have noticed only Export. Do you have to highlight all of the items you want to export? Does it maintain parent & child item relationships?
